Hey guys!

I'm very excited to be sharing this recipe for healthy spaghetti sauce full of vegetables you'd never know were in there! This recipe makes 11 servings for me and freezes beautifully!

My Recipe:
~ 1 lb Extra Lean Ground Beef
~ 1 Smoked Sausage
~ 1 Onion (Chopped)
~ 1 1/2 cups of Carrots (Grated)
~ 1 1/2 cups of Zucchini (Grated)
~ 3-4 Celery Stalks (Chopped)
~ 1/4 cup Minced Garlic
~ 40 oz Tomato Sauce (No Salt Added)
~ 6 oz Tomato Paste (No Salt Added)
~ 2 tbsp Brown Sugar (Optional)
~ 2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar (Optional)
~ Seasoning of Your Choice!
***(I've used the brown sugar and balsamic vinegar before, and was delicious. I just didn't have those ingredients on hand this time around, but it is still delicious without!)

Directions:
~ Chop up the onion and celery, and add to a blender.
~ Grate the carrot and zucchini, and add to a blender.
~ Add the garlic, and blend until the vegetabes become a smooth paste.
~ Saute the pureed vegetables on medium-low heat until all of the liquid has evaporated.
~ Brown the meat you decide to use.
~ Boil the pasta.
~ Once the liquid from the vegetables has evaporated, combine them with the tomato sauce, tomato paste, and meat.
~ Bring to a boil, season to your liking, and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
~ Enjoy! ☺
