504Hacked this up with face tracking from face-api.js, which runs through node.js and ends up in my Python script that's running Pygame. I did some trig with the facial landmarks to calculate facial orientation and used it to render the 3D face. The face is made up of cloth, polygons, and particles. The polygons use a custom 3D rendering system I wrote for Pygame.
