I'm sure ya noticed the main issue with these runs. In order to survive many encounters I have to take it slow which can lead to boring gameplay and more importantly, less entertaining content. You don't have to worry about that if you play through yourself. It does have an impact on your focus though. This is where taking things in steps can really help make a big difference. Focus is very important in this sort of challenge. Reflexes come second in these FPS games. I think knowing enemy position, knowing how they're moving, using sound, and proper planning while in the heat of the moment is more important than reacting to the unexpected.
Taking video games in steps is good stuff. It allows you to take those necessary focus breaks, reach other goals, break things down to lower intimidation, and finally allow you the time to use the ole noodle. There's more benefits. If something is too big for you, ever, just break it down into smaller pieces. I think Hikers do this. Or am I thinking about Miners?
