Centipedes can be summed up in two words by the general public: scary, and creepy. I see them along with the vast number of other invertebrates as fascinating and different. They have a whole world that is so different to ours, yet in some cases run so parallel to us that you're probably reading this near one.

Small animals like bugs and lizards can be so beautiful and captivating that I can only hope that these videos I upload touch the minds of people everywhere, to spark an interest, and perhaps a healthy respect for these little fellas.

This centipede is a Vietnam Giant Centipede, Scolopendra Dehaani. They use their venom via toxicognaths which are curved, hollow, and modified front legs which enable the centipede to immobilize and envenomated its prey. While the venom isn't lethal it is still considered medically significant, meaning it's gonna suck really bad if it gets you.
