Everyone has a different high school experience, my thoughts in this short is from my personal experience.

Disclaimer: I am aware I am EXTREMEMELY fortunate with the public high school I went to. It was incredibly academic focused, had no tolerance for bad behavior, and was made up of some really good kids. I am also fortune that this school had certain academic opportunities that allowed me to participate in rigorous coursework. I'm incredibly grateful for that, but I realize that this may GREATLY affect my responses to these myths, so please keep that in mind. Thank you.
