Q&A:

Q: Is this fake?!
A: No. The full video shows the whole game running at normal speed in only one take, which can both be visually confirmed and also through the sound timing. Fraps divided the recording session into parts due to limitations but the segments have been put together in the correct order without any additional editing, apart from adding an intro and outro. The shorter version has (obviously) been edited down in length.

Q: Why is the run so long? Wouldn't it be better to have a shorter run to get higher APM?
A: It would possibly be slightly better. Avoiding that one death I got would possibly also have made my APM a tiiiiiny bit higher too. The length of the run was not what I had in mind. First I thought it was going to be a 15-minute game. Then I thought the game would end around the 28th minute, when the enemy pushed our base down to 1 hp. After that, I thought my team would end it, but eventually the opposing team turned the game around yet again. Oh, HoN, the mother of unpredictable outcome! I however clicked as much as I could and pulled through the whole game thanks to hyper ventilating and Spanish swearing.

Q: Do you really expect me to sit through your 40 minute video?
A: Jaja! No, that's why I added a shorter version. The full video is there just to prove that this was a legitimate run.

Q: This doesn't look that difficult! You just seem to click around everywhere with no brain involved whatsoever. This is not how HoN is supposed to be played!
A: Well, you're free to try for yourself and post your own run! Furthermore I'm not trying to show of my skill level as a HoN player. I'm just trying to get my APM as high as possible for... scientific reasons I suppose!


Q: How did you become such a fast clicker?
A: I've always had swift fingers and hands as far as I can remember. Back when I was younger, I was always the one among my friends who had to do the prank ringing on doorbells since I was talented at spamming it quickly. My friends were always a stone throw away, ready to run. But I sometimes got caught since I'm a slow running, so I sometimes got what I deserved! I also won all our Nintendo Track and Field II tournaments (out of 4-5 contestants). In addition to this, I'm good (or at least very quick) at playing the piano.

Q: How did you practice for this run?
A: Weeks before the run, I started spending a lot of time playing a popular web browser game called Cookie Clicker. Most players are too lazy to actually click since they don't think it's worth the trouble to get the extra cookie bonus, but I can spend hours after hours just clicking as quickly as I can to maximize my cookie profit. Needless to say, I've spent many, many, many hours practicing for this moment.

Q: Did you buy barbed armor because Slither told you to?
A: No! I actually accidently bought it while being in a mental clicking bubble!

Q: You didn't really help out your team there, did you?
A: Well... first of all it's a non-stat game. And I really tried to not ruin the game. I avoided feeding, I always leveled mana aura whenever possible and I tried to save the bound eye from Moraxus late game (but alas, I died). If anyone was offended by my playstyle, I sincerely apologize! It won't happen again (unless someone breaks the record, which I then must reclaim, of course)! I'm willing accept whatever punishment I deserve for not fully helping my team out.

Q: Why do you seem to have such a hard time controlling your hero?
A: First of all, I ended up getting a EU-based game, which made the game quite laggy. Second of all, the amount of clicking in combination with all the camera sweep spamming and lag made my hero a bit confused. Have you ever been battling with someone over a courier delivery, where you both try to spam the courier to get the item first? That's what it feels like. But worse.

Q: Why is your EXP/min "0" at the stats screen when you got to level 6 in the game?
A: I dunno. I suppose I was outside of some regular experience range of the creeps that somehow got me exp anyway. Or perhaps it's just one of those random after-game stats bugs that seem to occur 50% of the time. I'm not sure, maybe someone with better knowledge regarding stat screens can answer that for you.


Q: How do you feel after the run?
A: I got a fever, a hard headache and my hand is locked. I'm not yet fully operational and will probably take a longer break before I try anything similar in any game. I didn't expect to have to go through such a trial of endurance. But I'm glad I did!
