Highlight: THM Bypassing UAC [Medium]
In this room, we will be looking at common ways to bypass a security feature available to Windows systems known as User Account Control (UAC). This feature allows for any process to be run with low privileges independent of who runs it (either a regular user or an admin).
From an attacker's perspective, bypassing UAC is essential to breaking out of highly restrictive environments and fully elevating privileges on target hosts. While learning the bypass techniques, we will also look at any alerts that could be triggered and artefacts that may be created on the target system that the blue team could detect.

FOR WHOEVER AT YOUTUBE REVIEWS THE COPYRIGHT APPEAL ON THIS VIDEO AGAINST ELITE
ALLIANCE MUSIC COPYRIGHT
There are a few issues here that Elite or L'Orchestra Cinematique's [LC] are will-fulling ignoring:
* The fair use of the audio.
* LC song is a cover of a Nintendo owned video game soundtrack it is not a derivative work nor has it been licensed as a derivative work.
* LC do not own the composition rights (LC even state they are aware of this in their YouTube usage agreement. I don't agree to their terms of the agreement nor am I bound to follow it if LC do not own the underlying rights).
* LC's version or arrangement of the existing song does not alter the melody of the song at all and arguably does not alter the character of the song so it would not considered a derivative work in respect to copyright.
* If LC believe it is a derivative work did they obtain permission from the publisher (Nintendo) directly to create a derivative work and include that permission when they applied for a mechanical license?
* Does the mechanical license include the correct type of usage (Audio visual (e.g. YouTube, TikTok, Amazon))?
* Does the mechanical license apply to just the US or international use (I'm based in the UK)?
* I was never forwarded a copy of the mechanical license or at the very least told where they registered the license so I can obtain it to verify its scope and the legitimacy of your assertions?
* I was never given the songs Universal Product Code or International Standard Recording Code to aid in discovery of the mechanical license's terms?
* Finally LC (by adding their arrangements to Content ID which caused this DMCA) are abusing of YouTube's Content ID system which states only the publisher (Nintendo) have have their content registered in the Content ID system.
