I cannot thank my friend Van LaPointe enough for editing this video for me. At the time of recording this I have covid again (yes, for a third time) and it's hard to collect my thoughts and edit them both for videos. Without his help I would not have been able to get this video out.

I got this prototype of the new Scalextric notchback Mustang, that will be released this year (?) in 2 different racing liveries, during the UK Slotfest from Hornby.

I have lived with this slot car sitting on my desk for the past few months now. I've considered my thoughts on this car.

I discuss the car in this video. I know that being critical of an unreleased car might not be considered good form... but I do feel I need to be honest about my thoughts about this critical car that is forthcoming.

Despite the position of the motor, I feel that price is the overwhelming factor for me (and availability of replacement parts) is the biggest concern for me.

I probably will do a follow up video about this car soon where I discuss the Pioneer Mustangs in relation to this car.

Yes, yes... I know they're different, but similar enough I feel to warrant comparison.
