• The official title for the game is HIT 2. Even though the genre has changed, the core feature is still tied to “action.”

• There were ideas about giving HIT 2 a sub-title, such as “HIT 2: Multi-hit”, but none of the suggestions worked. Hence, the team decided to just stick with HIT 2 having confidence in “HIT” as an IP.

• The development team had some regrets about the original HIT: Heroes of Incredible Tales not being able to fulfil its potential and not being able to showcase a full worldview due to it being a stage-based game. HIT 2, as a MMORPG, will be able to display what the team had always envisioned for the IP including a long-term service plan.

• XH Studio, the development team of HIT 2 of Nexon Games, is an internal team at NAT Games comprising of mostly former staff who worked on the original HIT. It was formed after the first game’s service was terminated. XH actually stands for “Xtreme Hit.”

• The team claims that what makes HIT 2 stands out will be its “service-oriented” design, referencing how good mobile MMORPG titles in the saturated market do well because of good service, communications with players, and not making promises that cannot be kept.

• Through the battle systems, NAT Games aim to imprint is unique identity on HIT 2 and make the game stand out and recognizable from the crowd.

• There is still auto-combat in HIT 2, but the team is making it “cooler” than other games when looking at the screen, with manual gameplay having better advantages and rewards.
