5Homes Restoration A VR HGTV Lovers Dream. Home Restoration VR has millions of downloads on the mobile app so I just had to try this in Virtual Reality. This game allows you to become Chip and Joanna Gaines from HGTV and get right into the nitty gritty of the home restoration process. This game is very simple and easy to play and I found it extremely enjoyable. There are several houses which you must earn money from the ground up that you can choose from. There is also several different locations you can choose from like, New York, Dubai, and London just to name a few. Once you buy a house you are tasked with several different chores that are unique to each home. You can be doing simple things like just cleaning stains on a couch or paining a wall to more complex things like drywall or planting a garden in the back yard. What I found very entertaining is at the end of a house being completed you must sell the house. People are lined up to give you offers and you can accept or reject the offer, BUT be careful some offers are better than others and you may choose the wrong one! Overall, this game is super fun and its cool to see something that was a mobile game come to Virtual Reality!
