Horizon Zero Dawn, Known fix:
the game still performs poorly for us. However, you may be able to tinker a bit more and get a different result.

Step 1:
To run on crossover, make sure visual C++ 2015-2022 is installed into your bottle.

Step 2:
open regedit from within your crossover bottle: click "run command" and enter

C:\windows\regedit.exe

-press run.
-navigate to the value shown
1100-1150 is allegedly the sweet spot, as per: https://github.com/Gcenx/WineskinServer/issues/424

(but again you may be able to tinker for better results)

LEAVE REGEDIT OPEN WHILE YOU PLAY. THE VALUE RESET FOR ME EACH TIME I CLOSED REGEDIT OR CROSSOVER

-lastly the game still runs like molasses for me, i wouldnt call it playable. Made this vid because i was unclear on how to perform the fix at all, so maybe someone else knows whats going on and can help run the game even better
