How 2 Play Heroes 3/WOG on Windows XP Mode

PLEASE NOTE: Without a KEYCODE, windows xp mode will expire in 30 days!
This tutorial only shows installation of XP Mode. Network play will be another video.
Heroes 3 is a great game, but it (along with other classics) don't work well on modern operating systems.
This tutorial shows you have to install windows xp mode on virtual box, on windows 7.
Windows Vista/8/10 have a fairly similar installation process.
You don't have to use XP MODE. Regular windows xp can be used.
Installing windows xp mode involves 9 steps.
1. Download + Install Virtualbox (or other O.S. emulation software)
2. Download + Install Windows XP Mode. (we want the VHD file from this)
2.5. Steal the VHD file
3. Change the permissions on the VHD file, and turn off Read Only. Otherwise, you will
get an error when you try to run it.
4. Using Virtualbox, install windows xp mode.
5. Turn off Virtualbox.
6. Mount the Hard Drive. Copy relevant games over. (Any mounting software works.
Windows 10 will mount the files without the scripts I used in the video)
7. Unmount Hard Drive
8. Run installation files from games.
9. Profit!
This stuff can be kind of finicky. It will probably take you an hour, including download times.
Sometimes clicking with the mouse inside the emulator doesn't work well on some computers. I had to retry alot before it finally worked correctly.
