How Danganronpa Became Hated
Danganronpa has become a fairly notorious series on the internet as of late. Even if you haven't played any of the three mainline games (Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, and Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony), you probably vaguely know of them through the meme of trashing on them in the most over the top and hyperbolic way possible. But have you ever wondered why that meme exists? In this video, I will go over the series itself, the birth and subsequent evolution of its fandom, the aforementioned meme of hating the series, and finally the series' history of problematic elements that make me unable to financially support it anymore.
