In today's video, I, indiegenerate, do an analysis rant about the new HBO Max series, Fionna and Cake, which features the genderswapped duo and also Simon Petrikov a.k.a. Ice King. It's a sequel show to the popular Cartoon Network original, Adventure Time which follows Finn the human and Jake the Dog. Other popular animation this year that I've liked includes Across the Spiderverse, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem, and the Universal Super Mario Bros. Movie! I'm excited to see Bubbline, Marshall Lee, and Gary. I loved songs like "Not feeling like myself today" and Rebecca Sugar's "A part of the Madness". It reminded me a lot of Steven Universe. Ice Prince, Prismo, and adult Finn were all welcome surprises and I loved seeing them. Adventure time matures with its audience.
