Hey y'all, I figured I'd share how I do this for my streams with OBS as a reference to my friends who are content creators, as well as anyone else that may find this video.
I use a heart rate strap, and a phone app called Pulsoid. There's a list of some HR trackers here that are verified for use with the app here:

Of note, the Coospo H808S is the specific model that I use.
Full disclosure, they have paid and free plans for using their service. I use the free plan, and haven't had any issues with it since I started using their app.
