Google and Tata Trust have come together for a project called Internet Saathi, where the idea is to help rural women get online in India. Tata Trust is spreading awareness about digital payments. Google is using ‘Saathis’ who teach them basics of using a smartphone. Besides that, Google is providing Android devices and data packs for Internet access. Watch out ground report for more.
