BioShock is one my favorite games of all time. It was developed by 2K Boston, which became Irrational Games, and 2K Australia. It takes place in Rapture in 1960, a fictional society based upon the Objectivist philosophy that has resulted in a cold war between two main people; Atlas and Andrew Ryan. You use guns and Plasmids to fight and solve various puzzles throughout the game, find Audio Diaries to expand the narrative, and build an idea of what the underwater city once was with its environmental storytelling. You run into several iconic characters and creatures like Big Daddies, Little Sisters, Sander Cohen, Splicers, and Brigid Tenenbaum that make an impression as soon as you encounter them.
