In today's video, we continue diving into the Chevelle restomod project. Today's focus is to get the body stripped down to really see how deep the rust repair is going to do. The general idea of this build is to retain much of the original character as possible, but modernize all of the underpinnings to create a unique restomod unlike anything else. My wife and I love the idea of being able to take a classic car and give it modern handling, performance and reliability. The first batch of content is going to focus on stripping the car down in preparation for metal work and rust repair. Step 2 will be stripping the body so I can get a better idea as to the condition of the rear of the car, various panels, areas underneath moldings, and other troublesome areas that typically plague Chevelles.
