just wanted to show you guys how to enter all of the different options in the super famicom box. By removing the two steel prongs located in the lock area (see how to pick a super famicom box lock video) you can now access different options and modes with the battery replaced as well (see battery replacment on super famicom box video) like:

(Key on OFF position)
Game runs through new Kirby greeting menu. Game runs through demonstration mode so you can see previews of all games. Game Trial Mode (option 5 now available) where you can try each game for a preset amount of time.

(Key on ON position)
No Kirby introduction but you can play all games for free (option 5 now gone from the menu)

(Key 1 Click Clockwise past ON position)
CHECK PLAY MODE : You can play all of the games and check to see that the game carts are working properly, the words チェック中です (Check Chu Desu) or (Check Mode in Japanese) appear at the top when the key is in this position.

(Key 2 Clicks Clockwise past ON position)
SELF TEST MODE: Here the game checks ALL of the hardware and all of the roms and gives you an OK after each has passed)

(Key 3 Clicks Clockwise past ON position)
Power to the machine is cut off *I dont recommend turning it 3 clicks*

(Key 1 Click Counter Clockwise past OFF position)
INSTALL MODE: Here you can change a MULTITUDE of options including but not limited to :
Game Counter
Game Options
Machine Check
Search Options
Clock Acceleration
Calendar
Sound Options
TV options
Date/Time Options
Cash Balance Options
System Refresh Options
Time Settings/ Extensions For Limited Free Play Trial Mode
Channel Settings
