This video is a comprehensive, how to guide. How to build the Perfect Jedi in SWG Legends. It will cover everything from Expertise Points, Gear, Buffs.
This a balanced build that is flexible enough to use in PVP and PVE.

This guide was in collaboration with Steffen: A great PVE and PVP Jedi and Vulture from V the Legend Youtube channel. Proof of it's function is evidence by their dominance in each scenario.

First thing you will want to do is get yourself a set of clothes outfitted with 35s. It's possible to add +35 for 3 stats to clothes using specially crafted attachments. The stats you choose are dependent on your play style but I like to go with Agility, Constitution and Precision. This gives me plenty of defense, health and a good chance of critical hits. This build is also versatile and will work well whether you play as LSJ or DSJ and for both PvE and PvP.

For a Jedi, you will want pants, boots, gloves and a bandolier all with 35s. A lesser known fact is that Jedi can wear leg armor. I like to go with primus composite as these give the maximum possible energy protection which as a melee class you will generally have more problems with.

You will also want to purchase some 'exotic' attachments. These are special stat modifiers which are applied to a shirt and your lightsaber. Choice is again down to playstyle, I like to go with critical hit, increased lightsaber damage and glancing blow increase. In a good build each element will compliment eachother. Precision on 35s for example helps to increase critical chance in combination with the critical chance exotics.

Once you have your basic clothes figured out, it's time to start working on your holocron collections. Completing the meditative discipline collection will grant you the ability to meditate, which allows you to buff yourself in one of three different ways for 30 minute duration. Completing the waist pack collection grants the belt of bodo baas. This belt functions as a 65 item backpack while still permitting the wearer to equip a bandolier outfitted with +35s. Once both collections are complete, its possible to meditate at any force shrine to receive the shatterpoint cloak or cloak of hate.

Next up is your heroic jewellery set. There are a number of different choices, but the guardian gives the best defensive boost for Jedi. The more pieces you earn, the larger the total bonus. The bonuses for the respective number of pieces is shown. These are purchased using tokens from completion of the heroic instances.

BUFFS: It's important to buff yourself as much as possible. Stacking as many buffs together will give you the best advantage. Each of the items I'm using are shown, almost all of these can be used together with only one or two exceptions.

Mustafarian injection gives +100 strength, +100 precision - another DPS builder.
Gackle bat familiar - gives +40 strength, +40 precision.
Tactical serum F (from officer supply drops) - +100 con, 7% crit chance, 5% dodge, 7% action cost reduction, 7% damage increase.
The sprint stim is another buff item you can earn or purchase. This allows you to run at a similar speed to force run for a duration of 1 minute. Very useful, especially in PvP
Breath of Heaven - +211 constitution, +3 dodge chance
Rancor Aid - +6 resist snare.
Shard of the serpent - for resistance to damage over time effects.
Lair crystal - Constitution +75, Luck +50, Critical Chance +5%, Damage output +10%, Glancing Blow Increase +5%
Shard of retaliation - Constitution +200, Luck +200, Agility +200.

BUFFS - POWERUPS: Powerups are a buff which can be applied to your armor, shirt and weapon for further increases. On a Jedi the cloak will be considered as the armor piece. A variety of different PUPs are available but I like to use glancing blow for PvE and critical hit defense for PvP. Buy the highest you can afford for best results. Glancing blow are available as +5 for both melee and ranged attacks, or, it is possible to buy specialized ranged or melee PUPs which go as high as 8, but only apply to that damage type. I use +7 ranged or +7 melee in PvE and +27 crit defense in PvP
