👁 About this video : In today's video we show you step by step how to change a dirt bike tire in your garage! We are using my 2021 Honda CRF250r and this is the OEM rear tire for the bike! I grew up racing and riding dirt bikes and this is my third 250, but unfortunately I haven't been able to ride it much lately, but this year I have been back out on the track and it was time for a new tire! The process isn't that bad to do as long as you have a second hand. Going to a dealer they would charge about $50-75 to do this. I'd rather take a few hours and learn how to do it and have fun doing it too. Once the tire is off the bike, it's time to start letting the air out and breaking the bead between the tire and the wheel. After that you can work on getting the tire off the wheel being careful not to scratch the wheel or puncture the tube. I would recommend replacing the tube as well, but if you go through tires quickly, as long as you don't puncture it, you can reuse it. Once the wheel is cleaned up and ready for the tube/tire, the baby powder worked really well for the install. We also used some "slime" we had laying around to get the last part of the tire on. It takes some muscle but patience and another hand and you'll get it installed!
