1) Update the Twitter app to the latest version
2) Open Twitter and log in to your account
3) Go to your profile page
4) Tap on Settings & Privacy
5) Choose Your Account
6) Tap on Username to change the username
7) Go to the profile page again
8) Select Edit Profile
9) Here you can change your display name
10) That's all it takes to change your name on Twitter.
