Here is what I do:


Equipment setup (you can see it on mark 01:17) :
- I mostly use Grip weapon. Put damage boost mods, and Eternal Fire mod (100% chance ammo return on hit. Basically works almost like unlimited ammo).
If you don't have Eternal Fire mod, you can use any ammo efficiency instead. The idea is to make you shoot him long enough until your energy got full again.

- For the personal mods, put Health Boost, Launch Efficiency, and Energy Recovery. Those mods will help you a lot againts Hartman.


Skill priority:
- Max out the Launch, Shield, Health, Energy if you can. Especially Launch and Shield, so you can still generate energy while holding the skill's button.


Fighting Hartman tips.

TLDR:
- Keep attack him. Change between launch and Grip shots. This can cancel his attempt on additional blackouts.
- Put your shield up when he's about to attack (his skin starts to glow bright red)
- Dodge with shield up when he's teleporting to near you/try to grab you.


Here's the long read version:
1. Whenever you have energy for launch, keep throwing things at him with launch.
But keep enough energy for casting shield whenever he's about to attack.

2. When you're on low energy, keep shooting him with Grip, try to hit him in the head or its shiny red skin.

3. When he's ready to attack (usually the sign is he will start to glow red), quickly put your shield up, and hold it until his attack ends. Be careful, he sometimes attack you twice, so hold the shield a bit longer. When it safe, keep attacking him again.

4. If he tries to grab you (he will suddenly teleport to near you), quickly dodge him while using your shield.

5. You can INTERRUPT his attempt on additional blackouts! When he says something, quickly hit him hard. Two hits on max level launch should interrupt him (that's what happen on my video, mark 16:40).


P.S.: Levitate is not necessary. You can stay on the ground if it makes you easier to hit him. And put shield up when he's about to attack.
