Someone asked me a few weeks ago to put together a guide on how to determine your ghost type if you are playing on Nightmare mode. If you've played nightmare mode, you know that you only receive two evidences and from there have to determine your ghost based on it's behaviors. Well, this can be quite tricky. And since Phasmophobia has 21 ghost types... narrowing it down can be really difficult. Some ghost are a lot harder to determine than others (cough - Raiju - cough). But there a handful of ghosts that if you're diligent, you can determine based on other qualities. A good example of this is the Obake. Once you know it doesn't always leave fingerprints or that they disappear early or that it gives you a 6 finger print sometimes, then you can push for the ghost to give you one of those three evidences. So in this guide, I go through each ghost and attempt to give you my best tips to help you narrow your ghost down.
