In this tutorial, I show how to draw drop shadows. I show a quick trick in Photoshop that will save you loads of time. What I don't get into is the depth of how if the light is hitting the character at a different angle than we view her, then you draw her shadow from that angle the light is hitting her. That is, you image you are viewing her through the light source, as if the light source were a camera. I also didn't go into how a shadow works when it hits a wall or stairs.
