Method 1: Reset iPhone using Apple ID
Requirements:
- iPhone with iOS 15.2 or later
- Signed in with your Apple ID
- Connected to Wi-Fi or cellular network
Steps:
1. Enter the wrong password multiple times until the "Forgot Passcode" option appears.
2. Tap "Forgot Passcode" and use your Apple ID password to sign out of Apple ID.
3. Follow the prompts to start the factory reset process.
4. Once the reset is complete, set up your iPhone as new or restore data from a backup.
Method 2: Reset iPhone using iCloud
Requirements:
- Find My iPhone enabled
- Connected to the internet
Steps:
1. Use another phone to access iCloud.com/find or use the Find My app on another device signed into the same Apple ID.
2. Sign in with your Apple ID and complete two-factor authentication.
3. Select the iPhone you want to reset from the device list.
4. Choose "Erase This Device" and follow the instructions to complete the reset process.
