Logitech G300S is a nice mouse with 9 reprogrammable buttons that I love to use for gaming. Unfortunately this particular model has a weakness where after sometime or long use of left clicking, it is no longer able to click and hold. At first I thought it was the switch inside that burned out but it has an Omron switch that is supposed to be able to do millions of clicking.

After some closer inspection, the long number of clicking has created a sort of recess/trench/small wear in the plastic that used to hit the switch. Which means left click will still work but you need to press harder with your finger to the front side making it awkward to use.

I glued some plastic pieces that I cut from my old credit card or loyalty card and then skim and file it down to make it thin thus closing the wear area. Now it will have another year of life or two.
