find the Legenary Joyeuse Short Sword in The Siege of Paris.
In order to even begin the journey to acquire this sword, you'll first need to unlock the Hidden quest. It's unlocked about halfway through the main story of The Siege of Paris, so if you haven't yet received the Hidden quest, keep playing through the main story quests and you'll eventually get it.
Kill the snakes (so that they don't kill you) and then loot the chest in here to acquire the Legendary Joyeuse Short Sword.
The gist of the Hidden quest is that some Hidden One Bureaus have been found in Francia. Eivor is curious about this and does some exploring that eventually leads her to a bureau in Paris. This bureau will be locked until you find three Hidden Ones bureau keys in other Roman Ruin sites in Francia. You must acquire all three of these keys before you can open the Hidden Ones bureau in Paris.
Hidden: How to Solve the Hidden Ones Bureau Questline page for a complete walkthrough of where to find the three keys that are needed to enter the Parisian bureua. Once you've acquired the keys, open the door and head inside. In the main chamber, look for a Hidden Ones logo on the ground — it's pointing at the doorway you need to go through.
