How To Get Victini in Pokemon Black/White
236Victini is a new Fire/Psychic Legendary Pokemon, currently being given out over Nintendo WiFi Connection UNTIL APRIL 11th, 2011, 4/11/11.
After that, you can't get it until Nintendo makes another event for it.
So, at the very least, connect to Nintendo WiFi through Mystery Gift in the Main Menu and download the Liberty Ticket while you still can. After that you can get the Ticket ingame at any Pokemon Center and continue about your adventure.
Unlike past games, Black & White have Mystery Gift unlocked from the very beginning. In fact, I downloaded my Liberty Ticket before I even started my adventure!
You can get the Liberty Ticket at any Pokemon Center, however you cannot access it til you reach Castelia City. At that point, you may have to chase Team Plasma out of town before you can access the boat ride; I'm not sure. But it's easy to do and is required to advance the story, so once they're gone you should be able to access the boat to Liberty Island to battle some remaining Plasma goons and take on Victini.
Their Pokemon range from Lv. 15 to Lv. 20, but they're all weak.
Victini is Lv. 15, and knows Endure, Quick Attack, Incinerate and Confusion, so be careful.
On top of this, Victini has a Catch rate of 3. It is tied with the likes of Mewtwo, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, and so on. So it may take a while to catch it. Just remember that if you run out or accidentally kill it, you can refight it.
Some people I know even used it to level up their Pokemon early in the game!
After catching it, you'll get a long message about Victini. I left that out; that's something you'll just have to find out for yourself!
Victini might be useful against Castelia City Gym Leader Burgh if you don't have any Pokemon available to help take him down.
Unfortunately, Victini, along with Reshiram and Zekrom, are programmed to be not shiny. This is slightly upsetting, as I would love to have a shiny Victini!
