How to get Xbox Game Pass on STEAM DECK! | Play XCloud on Steam Deck (Install Guide)
135The Steam Deck is a great way to play your PC games on the go from your Steam library, however, it is now also a great way to play your Xbox games on a handheld console. Xbox Game Pass can be installed and played on the Steam Deck, with great performance through the XCloud, but requires a few steps to actually get it on the Steam Deck. That is why I have made this installation guide for how to get Xbox Game Pass on the Steam Deck and start playing your Xbox games through the XCloud, on your handheld system!

*Step by step guide to getting Xbox Game Pass on Steam Deck:
1. Turn the Steam Deck on and hold the power button to select "Desktop Mode"
2. Once in desktop mode is open, click the blue shopping bag in the bottom left corner
3. Once that is open click "Applications" then Internet then "Web Browsers"
4. Find the Microsoft Edge app and install it
5. Once ME is installed go back to the desktop and in the bottom left corner click the "Applications Launcher"
6. Find the ME app in the "Applications Launcher" and right click it, then select "add to Steam"
7. After this, you can open Steam to verify Microsoft Edge has been added to you library, then close steam.
8. Next, go back to the "Applications Manager" and open the "Konsole" app
9. Enter the following command: flatpak --user override --filesystem=/run/udev:ro com.microsoft.Edge | then press the Steam Button and X to open your keyboard and press enter, then close the "Konsole"
10. Open Steam in Desktop Mode
11. Go to your Steam library and find the Microsoft Edge application
12. Right click the ME app and select "Properties"
13. Select "Launch Options" and ADD this text to what is already there: --window-size=1024,640 --force-device-scale-factor=1.25 --device-scale-factor=1.25 --kiosk "https://www.xbox.com/play"
Exit out of "Properties" | after doing this you can close that window
14. Right click ME again and press "Manage" and then "Controller Layout" then "Browse Configs" and select "Gamepad with Mouse Trackpad" as your setting.
15. At this point you are finished with the set up, but if you want to change the name of the app right click the ME application again and select "Properties" and at the top you can change the name to whatever you like.
16. Enjoy playing Xbox Game Pass on your Steam Deck!
