STEP 1: Go to the following link

STEP 2:
Scroll to the bottom of the first post and download the file "dmd-extensions_with_pin2color_and_seru.."
STEP 3:
Extract folder. You will see two sub folders included in this file one for x64 and one for x86. Click on those folders each, select everything in them, right click to cut or copy. Then go to your Visual Pinball folder, then VPINMame, and right-click and paste everything you copied or cut. Say 'Yes' and to override all the older files. Do this for both the x64 and x86 folders.
STEP 4:
In your VPINMame folder, create a sub-folder called "altcolor" - this is where you will put the files for the colorized DMDs.
STEP 5:
Download a colorized DMD of your choice, but in this video I downloaded a Pirates of the Caribbean (STERN) colorized DMD, which you can find here :

STEP 6:
After downloading the file, create a folder in your altcolor folder with the gamename of the pinball game you downloaded the ROM colorization file for, it's usually the ROM name. In that folder, place the .pac file or files you downloaded. Make sure the folder name is the exact name of the table or it might not work.
STEP 7:
Open the game and once inside press F1 to open the vpinmame Menu - After that, make sure you check the boxes "Use External DMD" and "Use Colorized DMD". Restart your visual pinball client.
STEP 8:
If everything was done correctly, you should now see a colorized DMD.
