THIS HAS BEEN PATCHED, HOWEVER CHECK ANNOTATIONS FOR WORKING METHOD.

Pretty simple, just do jumping jacks (or any other long emote), pause the game, go to your inventory, and then press the "Inspect" button (Triangle on PS4, Y on Xbox One) on your Gas Mask gear item. Then you can back out and it'll stay on! Enjoy this glitch, and let's hope that we get an official option to keep the mask on in a future patch!
