How to Ping on Controller & Tac Map in Black Ops 6 (Fast Tutorial)
3In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, you can ping locations both using your controller in-game and through the Tactical Map (Tac Map). Here’s how you can do both:
Pinging on Controller:
Launch the Game:
Start Black Ops 6 on your console.
Ping Locations in-game:
Aim: Position your crosshair over the area you want to mark.
Press the Ping Button: On a PlayStation controller, the default button for pinging is usually L1. On an Xbox controller, it’s typically Left D-Pad or Ping Button. Press this button to place a ping marker.
Using the Ping Menu (if available):
Hold the Ping Button: In some games, holding down the ping button will bring up a menu allowing you to select different types of pings (e.g., enemy spotted, need assistance, danger). Release the button to place the selected ping.
