How To Play: WCW Nitro TCG
27In this video, I explain step by step how to play WCW Nitro: The Trading Card Game.
There are a few rules I didn't mention because they aren't important in playing, but are important for deck construction and confusing situations.
1. You must have a 60 card deck for an official game. Your Wrestler does not count in the 60 card limit. You cannot have more than 4 copies of any card (except Nitros) and must adhere to specific cards if they have a limit.
2. Cards labeled as Unique can only have one of them on the field at once. A second copy cannot be placed on the field even if an ability permits you to put that Unique card down.
3. The rulebook itself states, 'The player with the most cards goes first.' This was changed on the WotC website as errata. It is 'The player with the least amount of cards goes first.'
4. Whenever a conflict in card priority occurs, attacker chooses when an action occurs. For example, if one card states the attacker ends their turn immediately after this current and the attacker has a card that states they can activate this card after a successful attack, the attacker chooses which one goes first.
That should be all that matters that wasn't explained in the video.
