1.Press Win + R to open the Run dialog box.
2.Type regedit and hit Enter to open the Registry Editor.
3.Navigate to the following key:

1.Right-click on the "Explorer" folder, select New ; Key, and name the new key Shell Icons.
2.Now, select the new Shell Icons key, and in the right pane, right-click on an empty space and select New ; String Value.
3.Name the new string value 29.
4.Double-click on 29, and under Value data, put the path to your blank .ico file. For example, if your .ico file is in the C:\ drive, you would put C:\blank.ico. Ensure the .ico file is blank (transparent) to avoid black boxes.
5.Click OK to save the changes and close the Registry Editor.
