How to reset almost any Toshiba laptop to Factory Settings

Press and hold the 0 (zero) key on your keyboard and then press the computers power switch. When the computer turns on, the Toshiba HDD Recovery Utility screen will appear -

OR

Restart the laptop.
Repeatedly tap the F8 key until you see the Advanced Boot Options screen.
Select Repair Your Computer and press Enter.
Select your country and click Next.
Logon as a local user.
On the System Recovery Options screen select TOSHIBA HDD Recovery.
