How to Speed up Internet by tweaking QOS
REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF BANDWIDTH WINDOWS CAN RESERVE TO 5% FOR PERFORMANCE. IF YOU DISABLE LIKE OTHER TWEAKS TELL YOU TO IT STILL DEFAULTS TO
20%. SO BEST LEAVING IT ENABLED BUT LOW LIKE 5% AS YOU PC NEEDS A BIT OF QOS.
For those that don't know, Windows reserves 20% of your
bandwidth for its own use. There is a setting called
"Limit reservable bandwidth" which can be edited in your
Local Group Policy Editor in Windows.
By default, the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20
percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use
this setting to override the default.
If you enable this setting, you can use the "Bandwidth limit"
box to adjust the amount of bandwidth the system can reserve.
If you disable this setting or do not configure it, the system
uses the default value of 20 percent of the connection.
