How to tighten the Blue Compass Boom Arm with ease
186Blue Compass boom arm not staying in place? Need to tighten your Blue Compass boom arm to keep it still? This is the video for you.
I've been using the Blue Compass boom arm as my main mic arm for several years now. In that time I've tested it with all sorts of XLR and USB microphones and I've rarely had any problems with it. I have, however, seen a lot of people complaining in the comments that it doesn't work with lightweight mics like the HyperX Quadcast https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DH-G6nLiS2U and others.
Here I am to show you how to easily adjust your Blue Compass boom arm so you don't have any problems. As you'll see, it's easy to adjust. There are several points on the mic itself. Just turn them clockwise. But hidden in the base you'll also find a tensioning screw. Adjust that as well and then SMASH THE SUBSCRIBE button to thank me.
