How to Transfer Your Save Game Data from PS4 to PS5 (2 methods)
3In this video I demonstrate 2 ways to transfer your game saved data from your PlayStation 4 to your PlayStation 5.
The first method is through the Cloud Storage server using PlayStation Plus. The first method requires that both of your systems are connected to the internet and that you need to ensure that you are logged into the same PS+ account on both systems.
The second method is through a USB Drive transfer. This requires a USB storage drive or a USB External Storage HD. I can confirm that a USB drive is recognized by the PS4 and PS5 through the front USB ports. You will need to connect your USB External Storage HD in the rear of the PS5, but a USB thumb/flash drive works in the front port of the PS5.
