In this video, I'll show you how to use the Format Painter tool in Microsoft Word. The Format Painter is a great way to copy formatting from one part of your document and apply it to another. Follow these simple steps to streamline your document editing process.
Use the Format Painter from the Home tab to quickly apply the same formatting (e.g., color, font style, size, and borders) to multiple texts or graphics. It copies the formatting of one item and applies it to another, similar to copying and pasting.
The Format Painter transfers font-level formatting like style, size, color, emphasis (bold, italics, underline), superscripts/subscripts, text effects (shadow, glow, outline), and highlighting. It can also copy styles from the Style gallery, such as Heading 1 or Heading 2.
