This is a game that reminds me quite a bit of the game Star Valor, and a game that was also made by the developers of Jets 'N Guns 2...both of which are games I've also played, and enjoyed, on my Howler for an Hour series. :) This is a solid top-down space-action-sim with a faster pace than most; I appreciate its flow quite a bit. I do have to dock it some points for some enemies having frankly-insane weaponry and abilities, such as a near-impossible-to-avoid wide wave beam or a grappling hook that seems to automatically snare you no matter what you do or how far away you are...mechanics that are particularly punishing if you are playing as a lighter ship. Aside from those real annoyances though, this is a blast to play.
