Huawei EMUI 10 Officially Launched | Best new features & updates
3,134Huawei officially launched EMUI 10.0 at HDC 2019, so here's a recap of the biggest, best new features of this updated Emotion UI launcher, coming to the Mate 30 (and Pro model) as well as the P30 series and older handsets. From a new dark mode that's improved on the Android Q version, to updated GUI elements, there's a lot to love here.
Huawei was a little mean with details on some of the fresh new features, although some upgrades such as improved Always On Display customisation were teased in the EMUI 10 trailer. However, this preview did show off the new dark mode, which looks rather hardcore. We also saw MEETime in action, as well as HiCar and some interesting device integration.
We're expecting Huawei to show off more of the best new features of EMUI 10.0 soon, ahead of the September 2019 release rollout to select P30 handsets. The first proper arrival of the new Emotion UI will happen when the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro are finally launched, most likely around October or November time - boasting that Kirin 985 chipset.
