There have been some pretty big announcements regarding the status of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake this past week... and the latest update comes from the game's lead developer, Naoki Hamaguchi, via the Mobius Final Fantasy 2nd Anniversary Live Stream!

In the stream, Hamaguchi spoke about why they are urgent recruiting, and it's because the Final Fantasy 7 Remake will now be developed internally, as opposed to with external partners CyberConnect2.
