In this second try at broadcasting, I run with a half-volume microphone to see how audible I am these days. In the past, I would always be whispering as I talked, and I couldn't even always tell what I was saying while editing my vocals. The benefit here will be less background air in this episode of Hyper Knights.

I found the game enjoyable for the first few battles, as it was quick and the controls felt responsive. I also liked the many kinds of hero upgrades available, and having allied knights were a good touch.

But battles became repetitive afterwards; the infiltration event did not help in that regard. No, I don't think adding another attack-button-requirement would be the answer, but perhaps each territory could have some more personality and personalized objectives as a result. I also received issues regarding copyright claims on the videos, making this a less viable choice for publishing video series on.

A controller is recommended by the game makers; while this is the sort of game I might think a person would sit down and play on a lunch break, I'm not sure what kinds of common jobs would have controllers available on break. Perhaps this is setting up to be one of those mobile games?

While looking up Hyper Knights, I heard good things about the team, Endless Loop. Only a couple days after the game's release, there are even updates from Endless Loop about multiplayer functionality already on the way -- but that's easier said than done. I hope it comes true!
