The day came. I finally met Elon. In the most unusual, almost impossible way. I did not have an invite to AI Day. But felt it would be worth driving down to Palo Alto from Portland (11ish hours each way) to be in the area and at least do some networking. I felt I wasn’t trying hard enough and being a good enough reporter if I didn’t at least make the effort.

I am so glad that I trusted my gut and believed I could make it happen. Also-- I am so blown away by the level of talent on the #Tesla team.
