I decided to be brave and see what all the fuss was about https://world.org/ and their event "A New World" in my home city of San Francisco. As someone who has absolutely zero clue about how cryptocurrency works, I thought it would be an interesting experience. I was right. I learned a bit about WorldCoin (now World's) mission to help with human verification in the age of AI, and was introduced to their signature ORB. It kind of looks like that villain from the video game Portal. I chose not to have my eyes scanned at this event.
