Alright, so the long version of this story:

I've got 2 capture cards: the DiamondVC500, which is used to capture my gamecube/N64/Wii collection, and my Elgato Game Capture HD, which records my Wii U stuff.

My Elgato, when plugging the USB into my computer, will say "This Device is not recognized." It doesn't matter which USB I use, I get the same result. When I checked my device manager, it showed that the Universal Serial Bus (USB) controller needs to update the driver. However, when trying to update it, my system is unable to.

So, the driver is not installed for it, and because of that, I'm not able to get my Elgato to run. I've asked multiple people about this, including emailing the Elgato company, and even they can't solve the problem. So something's clearly missing from my computer. If anyone has any info on this, that'd be great, because thus far, I've got no idea.

Moving on to the LP. I can either A) Not do the LP, and move on to another project or B) I can order a HDMI to RCA cables (which buying that part is about 8 dollars or so), and try to run the picture and audio from the Wii U, through the elgato, through the converter, through the DiamondVC, and into my computer, to get it to run that way. I'm obviously not sure if that will work, and I know that means the quality won't be HD, but it's either try that or nothing (or find the receipt to mail it back to the company to see if they can fix it, but who knows how long that would take, plus the issue may be my computer, not the capture card).

So, in short, let me know what you think in the comments below. I need to know within the next 5 days or so, if this video is taken down then I've made my decision.

Thanks guys,
