Inept Reviews: Mr. Wimpy (ZX Spectrum)
27A few weeks back I reviewed a batch of games, and here is one of them. This is Mr. Wimpy, a game based on the Wimpy restaurant chain that British punters have enjoyed eating at for many years... although judging by the rarity of them on the high-street these days, I assume people prefer to eat at McDonalds instead. The player must guide Mr. Wimpy around his seemingly possessed restaurant, collecting ingredients and making a selection of burgers along the way. The second part of the game is basically Burger Time but with Mr. Wimpy instead of whoever featured in the original game.
I used lower frame settings when capturing the video, hence there's a fair bit of flickering and missing animation. I've changed capture methods since.
