Revisited this gem after about a year and I haven't heard of anyone else finding the infinite jump exploit before so I thought to show it off here.

It's super simple: just equip Air Jumper and Function Overload, then alternate between dive kicks (hold down + attack) and jumping out of the kick (you can still hold down here, makes it easier). Both give you one extra jump and normally this means 3 jumps max before touching the ground, but there is likely a programming oversight with how the dive kick affects the jump counter specifically when both buffs are active.

I chose the highway stage because there's a lot of open space toward the top and it's also cool to get super speed when jumping off the green moving platform. I am using Bit's paint chip which grants faster movement speed but it's really hard to tell if that stacks with Function Overload's speed boost, I think it might but only slightly.

No clue if this is useful for speedruns, I haven't been keeping up with the routing since several updates ago but I think it's a neat exploit nonetheless.
