Typically when you look at the Github for a piece of software that is available in the AUR (Arch User Repository) it will show how to install it using an AUR helper, that's all well and good except all the AUR helpers are in the AUR.

So today I discuss how to install a program from the AUR without the use of an AUR helper, this is my preferred way of installing this software.
